Account Holders
Returns will only be accepted by H&S drivers if a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form has been completed by your account representative prior to acceptance. RMA's will only be issued if the item(s) were purchased by the account holder.
Upon pickup of item(s) to be returned, the H&S driver will confirm that the item matches the RMA. The customer shall sign the RMA and a copy will be sent back with the driver which will then be handed over to our logistics department. Determining if a product is suitable for a full refund occurs at our warehouse upon inspection. Unopened and/or unused products may be returned for a full refund of purchase price within 30 days of the original date of purchase. A 15% restocking fee may apply for items returned without the original manufacturers packaging. Refunds for account holders will be posted as a credit note against the account of origin. A copy of the credit note will be mailed to the billing address on file and will appear on customer statements.
All custom orders are non-refundable.

Non-Account Holders

We will ensure that our staff is trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods or services.

Service animals
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public.
Support persons
A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises.
Continued Notice of temporary disruption
In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities H&S Building Supplies Ltd. will promptly notify customers by way of customer notices on our web site as well as notices to our existing clients via e-mail. Additional information will be posted at customer entrances and offer alternative methods of access if applicable.
This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available.
Training for staff
H&S Building Supplies Ltd. will provide training to employees, volunteers and others who deal with the public or other third parties on our behalf.
Individuals in the following positions will be trained:
Customer Service Representatives, Sales Executives, Managers, and Drivers
This training will be provided to staff within 2 weeks from their date of hire. Training will include both a theoretical and testing component, and will be kept on file for the duration of employment. Refresher training will be delivered on an annual basis.
H&S Building Supplies has a zero tolerance policy. All reports of nonconformance of this program will be investigated, and employees disciplined up to and including immediate termination.

Feedback process
Customers who wish to provide feedback on the way H&S Building Supplies Ltd. provides goods and services to people with disabilities can provide comments verbally or by email by contacting the Management team (information provided at the end of this Policy). Persons filling comments are asked to provide contact information as one of the Managers will reply to the comment and corrective action personally.
Customers can expect to hear back in seven days upon receipt of complaint.
Complaints will be addressed according to our organization's regular complaint management procedures.
Modifications to this or other policies
Any policy of H&S Building Supplies Ltd. that does not respect and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities will be modified or removed.
